I've been having trouble with the lights in my 2023 Hornet since I got it. I thought those dim lights were all there was, but there should be more. I took it to the dealer, and they fixed it by unplugging the battery. But now it's broken again. Today, the whole dashboard went black! I tried restarting it, but nothing.

I called the dealer, and they're being jerks about getting me in sooner. Any advice? This is super annoying, especially since I need the dashboard to drive.

I had a similar dashboard meltdown once, my car decided to go on a vacation right when I needed it. I turned the car on, and nothing. Not even a light! So, I started pressing every button like I was trying to hack into the mainframe. Nothing worked. In desperation, I Googled "How to fix a broken dashboard" and ended up watching a tutorial on how to install a completely new one. I’m no mechanic, but I thought, "Hey, I’ll just have to start a new career." Fortunately, the dealer finally fixed it, but not before I considered bringing it in for a trade-in as a "new, mysterious feature."

Sorry but no help with the fix. I had the whole dash cluster disappear for half a day and then one time when I turned the car on it magically reappeared. I am in at the dealership more than driving my car...
