So any owners of the R/T Plus (or R/T)

How reliable has your car been?

If you run the vehicle mainly in Hybrid mode, how often do you have to charge it from empty? Or in that mode would it be partially charging nightly?

How long does it take to charge of phase 1 (120V) from empty, and if it's partial form partial? As I don't have a place to put a phase 2 charger.

How long would it take to charge at a phase 3 public charger? We have some electrify America ones at work I could use and do daily shopping, etc after I get off work.

How have you liked yours?

What kind of milage are you getting?

From my understanding, Level 1 uses a standard three-prong 120V outlet and takes about 7.5 hours to fully charge the battery. While Level 2 uses a 240V charging station and takes about 2.5 hours to fully charge the battery.

How long are you running the car in Hybrid Mode? Because if you do it for a long time, I guess you won't need to charge it every night. Anyway, it is good to charge it when it is bellow 20% for optimal battery health.

I’ve had my R/T for a while now, and it's been pretty reliable overall. In Hybrid mode, I charge it overnight, usually not needing a full charge every time. If you're using a 120V outlet (Level 1), it takes around 12-14 hours from empty, but if you're only topping off, it’s much quicker. When I use a Level 3 charger (like at Electrify America), it usually takes about 30-45 minutes for a good charge. As for mileage, I average around 30-35 miles on electric before the gas engine kicks in.

The charging time will depend on the specific charger and how much charge the battery needs. Level 1 (120V) charging is slow and best for topping off the battery overnight. Level 3 (DC fast charging) is the fastest option but isn't always available.
