No charger around me right now, so I’m wondering what’s the best driving mode for saving fuel. Should I stick to Hybrid and use E-save to top off the battery, or go Electric until it runs out and then switch to E-save? Any tips or thoughts?

I use Hybrid mode for trips over 35 miles and Electric mode for anything shorter. I came to this conclusion after running a few tests, and I recommend you do the same to see what works best for you.

Thanks for the input, you two! Looks like Hybrid is the way to go for those longer trips. I’ll stick with Electric for the shorter runs and switch to Hybrid when I need the extra range, and see how it goes. I’ll also keep an eye on the battery usage in Electric mode before flipping it over to E-save. Appreciate the tips!

I mainly use electric mode, which meets the majority of my daily driving needs. For longer trips, I use e-save mode to save battery for the return trip. I'll then switch back to electric mode near the end of the trip to use up any remaining battery.
