I’ve seen lots of posts about issues with the Hornet, and I get it, it’s frustrating. But I wanted to share some perspective and encouragement from my experience.

First-model-year vehicles often have bugs, it’s common across all brands, and Dodge is no exception. When the Jeep Wagoneer launched, it had its fair share of issues, but over time, fixes and updates smoothed things out.

I got mine in August 2023 and had a fuel pump issue early on. My dealer replaced it, and it’s been running great ever since. It’s a fun, sporty car, and despite the early bumps, I’ve really grown to love it.

The Hornet launch was delayed due to part shortages, so some kinks were expected. As more cars hit the road, updates and fixes will become more common.

If you’re feeling frustrated, hang in there! This car has a ton of potential, and I’m excited to see how Dodge improves it. Let’s keep sharing our experiences and helping each other out!
